It was a great location to explore the area, parts of Tuscany and coastal towns. Then return to relax and sit by the pool. The staff were very helpful for recommendations and the local town had great restaurants and gelato. The breakfast buffet was incredible and on our last day when we had to collect our daughter early from Rome they made us breakfast very early.

The Locanda Rossa is set among olive groves in the Maremma Toscana hills, 4 km from Capalbio. It features a spa, a Tuscan restaurant, and 2 swimming pools.

Hosts Angela and Enrico were very welcoming and informative. We opted to have the meals during our stay, they were superb and Angela took time to explain what was in the food, so were learned quite a lot. So as well as enjoying Enrico's excellent cooking, we came away with some tips!
