Everything went well, the location can't be beaten. The view from my room was out over the outdoor area onto the lake. The breakfast had everything I would expect and was of a great quality.

The hotel garni Santa Caterina is on of the first hotels on the shores of Lake Orta, a short walk from the centre of Orta San Giulio. It offers a pleasant garden, and free snacks in the lounge.

The staff at Hotel Garbo Santa Catarina were amazing, giving advice on where to visit and going above and behind to make are stay perfect. The breakfast was wonderful. We also visited the restaurant connected with the hotel which was very pleasant.

Set in Orta San Giulio's main square, right next to the dock for boats to San Giulio Island, Hotel Aracoeli offers elegant rooms mixing original architectural features with contemporary design.

Central location, overlooking the square. Underground parking nearby (€20 per day), under ten minutes walk from the hotel. Fabulous breakfast that caters well for all tastes. It included meats, cheese, vegetables, fresh fruit, cakes, yoghurt, freshly made coffee by the staff… you name it! Eclectic decor, which was a creative mix of traditional & modern. Separate WC to shower. Spacious shower (in the bedroom, but with a glass screen). Comfy bed in spacious bedroom. Very helpful staff. Dog friendly (€10 per night).

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming boutique hotel in Armeno, nestled amidst the tranquil mountains. We had a beautiful room at the Palazzo overlooking Lake Maggiore. The design of the whole hotel was fabulous and everything we ate - breakfast, dinner, snacks - were all amazing. Expensive but worth it!

Hotel Regina Palace is a majestic Art Nouveau building offering refined classic-style interiors and a large garden with pool. It is right on the shore of Lake Maggiore, in Stresa.

Beautiful opulent building and surrounds. We enjoyed the indoor pool and spa and outdoor pool - so relaxing. And lovely to be served aperitifs on the terrace. Plenty of staff and very attentive service. Just a short stroll to restaurants and the ferry.

Very friendly staff, excellent price, comfortable bed, nice & simple breakfast. Close to Arona which is a nice town go walk around. The steak house next door is excellent. We stayed here as we wanted to be close to MXP Malpensa airport
