It was fantastic!! The rooms are gorgeous, HUGE bed, hot shower, it was perfect. We had an amazing dinner in the restaurant, our waiter Cruiz was fantastic, he was so kind and attentive. The portions were huge, which was amazing after a day of driving. 10/10 all round.

The Grand Hotel is situated on Nuwara Eliya Hill, adjacent to the Nuwara Eliya Golf Course.

Amazing atmosphere in a very well kept building and gardens. Warm welcome with nice tea, fabulous breakfast, nice swimming pool, friendly staff, and great restaurants. It was also nice for the children (9, 15).

We only stayed one night as we were passing through Nuwara Eliya, but we would have happily stayed longer. The hotel is lovely, and the buffet evening meal was our favourite throughout our whole trip. It was my wife's birthday whilst we were there, and the hotel staff organised a birthday cake at short notice which was greatly appreciated.

Location and quietness were the 2 best parts about this stay. The room felt so cosy and warm, comfortable beds, and a great little TV in front to pop on just before bed.
