This is by far the best stays I have ever had. We were a party of four (two couples) and had opted for the sea facing family villa which huge and private. The beach, the cliff and the pool- everything was picture perfect. A special call out to the exceptional staff who made our stay so comfortable- Housekeeping: Hemantha/ Damith Butlers: Sandun/ Deen/ Praneeth Kitchen: Shan/ Kaveen Front Office: Tharaka If you are looking for a quiet, relaxed, romantic and luxurious stay by the ocean I would highly recommend this place.

The way the pool was placed at the outer part of our room and the way it was kept. The cleanliness was 100%. The staffs were also very very great and friendly. We were all girls and were afraid to walk out in the night to get a tuk, the Villa staff Dumindu, he walked us out and even stopped a tuk for us. And in the morning, there was a another staff who personally walked us because there was many dogs around. The staffs and the entire villa, was 200%. The security was also super tight, and they were doing their rounds in the midnight. We slept quite late and I saw the uncle walking around at least four times while we were awake.

Wonderful gem in Mirissa. I ended up staying here last minute after checking out of another hotel and this place ended up being the perfect retreat, so much so that I stayed an additional night. The building is a wonderful renovated property and backs out onto the beach. Perfect for sunrise and sunset walks as well as watching the sea turtles swimming in the afternoon. The room was big and comfortable, with all required amenities. The food was delicious; breakfast and dinner with the ocean waves in the background. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. Would gladly return!

Adjacent to Unawatuna Beach, Sergent House is set in a boutique villa showcasing colonial architecture and originating in the 1800's.

A wonderful way to end our vacation in Sri Lanka! We enjoyed the pool (clean water! good for splashing about and for laps!), rooms (tastefully decorated) and grounds (impeccably kept), breakfast (varied and tasty), and yoga (instructor was patient and well-informed). It seems every aspect was thought through with great care for guests' comfort and relaxation.

The Fortress is located along the beach, on the southern coast of Sri Lanka. It offers spacious accommodation, an outdoor pool and 2 restaurants. Wi-Fi and on-site parking are free.

Hotel was great value for money, big bedroom and outdoor bathroom and a large private garden. Loved the swimming pool which was clean and great for lengths. Staff all really nice and very helpful. Breakfast was good. Location of hotel lovely in a big garden across a small road from the sea where you can swim with turtles.

Had a wonderful stay at the beautiful Era Beach Hotel with my family. Great place to relax overlooking the gorgeous sea view. Situated in a convenient location & serene environment. We stayed in suite with sea view and loved the beautiful view from the balcony. Rooms were spacious and well cleaned. Hotel staff were very friendly & attentive.
