The staff were exceptional- especially the two ladies who were working in the reception area on Saturday night; they were so friendly and helpful. The bed was very big and very comfortable. The breakfast was probably the best hotel breakfast I've ever had. The location is great- easily accessible and a very pleasant 20-25 minute walk to the centre. Everything was fantastic.

Hotel Restaurant Bitter en Zoet can be found in historic Veenhuizen, a particular village in Drenthe. The hotel has charming double rooms. Each room is unique in style and has a private bathroom.
