Spacious room, fantastic view, great location, and very nice pool.

The art deco style decoration was very nice. Thanks to the location of the hotel, it was very easy to reach everywhere. Especially the bathroom and breakfast were extraordinarily good.

It has a fantastic location and spacious rooms. Highly recommended if you want to be near the city centre.

Location 7 min walking to Queen street. Covered parking in 50 meters and good buffet breakfast included in room price. Big rooms.

Excellent hotel & super friendly hospitality staff/reception+concierge team! Check in was quite easy but expect a queue especially at 15:00, when the earliest time to check in occurs. Shout outs to receptionists Laura, Bella & Sarah for helping me not only with check ins but also questions such as GYM/FITNESS CENTRE usage, SKY CITY TV TOWER visit, which is right below the hotel lobby area. You will get a partial discount if you are going to visit/climb the TV Tower, & also housekeeping/microwave request. Yeah, I am someone who like to have leftover foods & reheating them the next morning so that I will have breakfast instead of buying breakfast. The charming red coats the receptionists wear are also nice looking~) Location wise is definite the most comfortable because to get here from the international or domestic terminal, all you gotta do is get on the INTERCITY/AIR COACH that will cost you 20NZD one way. This coach will take you directly here on HOBSON ST which is right to the left side(west side) of the hotel! Then the sister Hotel "Grand Hotel" is just to the east of this hotel! Casino & restaurants are all in complex located in this Sky City Hotel building! So if you like to gamble, then please visit the casino!) Room wise, it's very spacious) Bathroom is very easy to use both the shower & the sink. Hair dryer, tea, electric kettle with cups & glasses are all provided! Then on the TV screen, it states KIA ORA your name(Name of Guest) as a sign of welcome! Very nice! Atrium view is nice too but for your own privacy, turn off the lights at night or close the curtains so no one else can see you! Also the AC in the room you can manage by increasing the temperature to 24-25C if you feel cold like me or 21C if you feel hot.

Location was great - very close to everything and attractions in Auckland CBD. Room was exceptional - it was spacious, clean, comfortable and just very homely. Loved it! Staff at reception were excellent as well - super efficient to say the least.
