This resort is great for families. The staff was so friendly and even gave our baby a sweet present. The facilities around were great, with a small supermarket, cafe and restaurant on site. Of all the hotels we have used in Cascais this gets the highest rating. It's great value for money!

The location was fantastic. Central and very walkable. The staff was so kind, the room was clean and very comfortable. I would absolutely return here the next time I visit Cascais!

Loved the breakfast,the buffet was fantastic. Loved sitting by the pool,we enjoyed long breakfasts. Would like to commend Jose,the restaurant manager.he was very helpful and kind. Loved the outdoor pool area,the service was great. The indoor pools were an amazing way to relax at the end of the day. I enjoyed the interior design of the miragem,the beautiful art work ,furnishings and floral arrangements.The colours were very attractive to the eye and add a personalised feeling to the hotel. The staff at the front desk were always di helpful.Catarina is a gem. We enjoyed the private balcony with views to the sea. I could feel that this is a family owned hotel where no attention to detail is spared and staff feel nurtured.

With studios and galleries surrounding it, the 5-star hotel overlooks sea and the Cascais Marina, and is part of the renovated 16th century citadel complex.

We stayed in a separate villa. It was a two-story villa. On the first floor, there was a small living room with a kitchen. On the second floor, there were two bedrooms, each with a bathroom. The place is quiet. The hotel grounds are beautiful, surrounded by pine trees and greenery. It's a great place to relax with children.

We could not get into the room until 15.00, despite arriving from Sao Paulo in the morning. Room was excellent, breakdast top, Yakuza restaurant very good, but most importantly, personnel did their very best to find back our son‘s cuddles after he forgot them in the bed. Many thanks!!!
