Modern hotel with stunning views from every room, across the Douro River valley. Parking outside the door. Great meals and (mostly) very friendly, helpful staff. We enjoyed it so much, we extended our stay by a day. It was fun having a pool table to while away a rainy day.

Excellent views, beautiful pool with a view, big comfortable rooms, amazing spa, 24 hour indoor pool, but what i really loved was the vineyard and the orchard with all different fruit trees. It truly makes you feel like you're in the countryside and need to switch off. Perfect combination of elegance and rustic.

Everything. One thing to add is the restaurant: it's outstanding and with a great view. Not cheap, but outstanding, and seldomly mentioned on the reviews.
