This small hotel was a hidden gem and the owners were lovely. Once entering through a small wooden door it opened up to a welcoming site of beautiful plants and flowers, a tranquil setting. I was travelling from Phang Nga and arrived earlier than the check in time. I had asked in advance if they had a room I could store my bag until the room was available for check in ,which they said they could. When I arrived I found they had upgraded me to a to a villa by the pool so that I could check in straightaway. Generous, warm and wonderful staff! The pool was large and surrounded by lush vegetation. The photos of this hotel are exactly what you can expect. My room was spacious and clean. A large shower room and separate toilet. Large bed and lots of space. Coffee making facilities, A/C , wifi, refrigerator and a TV. There were outlets for plugs. It was like a hidden sanctuary and I loved my stay there. The location is perfect to be able to walk to the beach, there are lots of cafes and beach restaurants to have something to eat. A great location and although Nai Yang itself was getting busier when I stayed, this hotel was quiet and peaceful. There is an amazing temple in this area that is worth a visit if you have more than one day here. I had read the reviews and saw that people that had stayed one night before their trip home had wished they had stayed for longer. It is a perfect place if you need somewhere close to the airport and I read those reviews and decided to book a longer stay (4 nights) before I caught my international flight home and I am so glad I did. (Thank you to those other reviews!) If you are looking at this hotel don't hesitate and make the reservation - you will not regret it. Pojjana, thank you so much for making my stay so wonderful. I had an incredible stay at The Slate Hotel in Phuket! From the moment I arrived, the attention to detail and exceptional service stood out. The design of the hotel is stunning—luxurious, modern, and with a unique industrial-chic vibe that sets it apart. The rooms were spacious, beautifully decorated, and immaculately clean, with every amenity thoughtfully provided. The pools were breathtaking, offering a perfect spot to relax, and the lush tropical surroundings added to the serene ambiance. The dining options were phenomenal, with a variety of delicious cuisines and impeccable service at each restaurant. The breakfast spread was especially impressive! The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect—they were warm, friendly, and always available to assist. The location was also ideal, close to the beach yet peaceful and secluded. The Slate is truly a gem in Phuket, and I can’t recommend it highly enough. I’ll definitely be returning! Feel free to tweak it based on your specific experience!

The location close to the airport is very convenient (10 min in taxi). The hotel is very nice, the rooms are large and quiet. You may need to walk a bit if your room is further away. The breakfast was very good, especially the Thai dishes. The hotel provides a lot of free stuff: free sport and yoga classes everyday, gym, paddle board and kayak, floaties in the swimming pool. They gave us lots of baby toiletries for our daughter. It's a very kids friendly place, with an outdoor playground and indoor kids club. Our toddler had the greatest time at the kids club and Fashai, the lady running it, was an angel and took great care of our daughter. We will definitely consider coming back again and thanks the hotel staff for an amazing experience!

Everything from room, service, environment, food I love it that the room is private yet you feel open, pool villa was surrounded by many trees, you can see squirrel, birdy and even frogs inside the room. The beach itself, although most if the time with rough wave, but yet it is fun to play with Food is good too! Only thing is I requested for anniversary decoration but they didnt do, but its fine. The staff there are all friendly enough to make this up. They dont have much units and it is attached to a private beach, so you can enjoy the sea and beach peacefully. Be sure to catch the pink sunset too!
