Everything was absolutely amazing. Staff was so friendly and very accommodating. Beautiful and clean rooms and great breakfast.

The rooms were big enough, clean and cozy. Breakfast offered variety of fruits, cheese and charcuterie. On top of that you could ask for an omelette which lovely staff prepared for you. We enjoyed our stay there and would definitely come back!

Avondrood is a small Cape Victorian-style guest house in the historical part of Franschhoek.

Location was superb, the staff were fantastic, lovely breakfast, spacious room with unbelievably comfortable bed. Peaceful and quiet even in high season.
