Das Casona Del Alto ist ein Bed & Breakfast im Bergstil auf einem Hügel in einer ländlichen Gegend, umgeben von Wäldern. Fernando and Lili are wonderful hosts. They are very endearing and go out of their way to ensure first class hospitality. The location is great, but you need a car. This boutique hotel was designed by them and built in 2012 with special attention to ensure that every room has that awesome view of the surrounding mountains. The library and the furnishings are a testament to their impeccable taste. They are both so cultured and conversing with them was a treat. Argentina holds a special place in our hearts, this being our third trip to the country, and our stay at Casona del Alto served to further strengthen that bond.

Breakfast was great. Served at the time of our choosing. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We had 3 rooms all connected by an inside hallway and an outside balcony. The owners live on property and were wonderful to us.

What to say, we arrived late and were treated to a GnT while our bags were taken to our Villa. It was the most beautiful place we have ever stayed…seriously!!!! The pool and spa facilities were first rate with robes, slippers, a pitcher of mint water and fresh fruit! Indoor/outdoor pool was perfect (warm), and the yoga area was great for a stretch before my swim. My husband used the workout room and we both took showers there before making our way to breakfast! Breakfast was delicious ! The staff was amazing and accommodating! The bed was a little hard for my husband so they brought and put on a topper for us. Also their turndown service brought down the motorized blinds. What do you say when you bring up the two story blinds to a magnificent view (sunrise for us)…..Heaven! That was the official name of our villa, and baby it sure was!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! 🙏 😊. BTW….don’t miss out on their nature trail.
