Everything was amazing. Alexander received us with a welcome drink and explained everything about the city and attractions. The room was simple, but really big, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good, with many options and they offer bags to take some food to lunch. Could not believe that so high quality was for such low rate. I highly recommend it!

This family-run hotel offers free WiFi in all areas and rooms with balconies overlooking the Allgäu Alps. It stands in a quiet residential area of Füssen, a 15-minute drive from the Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau Castles. We arrived early by car. Onsite free parking was a big plus. We were allowed to check into our room several hours before check in time. The staff was most friendly and accomodating. Walking distance from the hotel lies the Old Town of Fussen. The ‘Rewe’ grocery was just a short walk away. Most impressive was the breakfast both in presentation, variety and taste. We would definitely book here again when we return to Fussen.

Decorated in a country house style, the elegant rooms at the Landhotel Guglhupf feature a private bathroom and high-quality wooden furniture. Great location, fantastic staff. The rooms were very clean, there was a shared fridge outside the room available. Breakfast was superb with very attentive staff, table setting with lots of care and love, gave a homely feel.

Had a wonderful stay, the kitchenette serves our needs and having 2 separate bedrooms was amazing especially after sharing one room for almost a month! Staff wonderful!

It was the perfect place for our family (six adults). The kitchen was well stocked so we were able to enjoy breakfasts around the kitchen table and dinners on the well-appointed patio. An amenity we did not expect - there was an assortment of wines, beers, and other refreshments available for purchase which was especially nice on the evening of our arrival. On our second evening there was an issue with not having hot water - apparently the boiler was having technical difficulties. We emailed the owners at 22:30, and by 9:30 the next morning the technician had already been there to fix the issue. The owner's responsiveness was impressive which we so appreciated! The location is amazingly situated - about 25 minutes from Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau (just over the border in Germany) and only about 10 minutes from Ehrenberg castle, fortress, and ruins. Our time at the chalet was magical - thank you to the owners and our host Gerda!
