We had a wonderful stay at this charming guest house in Obertraun. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely at home. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with so much attention to detail that made our stay special. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, offering great tips for exploring the area. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped, and we woke up each morning to breathtaking views of the mountains. It was the perfect base for discovering Hallstatt and the beautiful surroundings. We truly didn’t want to leave and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Difficult to say what we liked the most because we loved it all. The size, quality of the room. Fancy decoration, good coffee and quality furniture in the room. The private balcony with the fantastic view, The nice and helpfull manager and staff, the quality of the breakfast and the other food and wine, the clean and peaceful garden with quality furniture, bath and sauna possibilities alone with full access to the lake. We felt very lucky to have found and chosen this place.

This hotel is in the center of Sankt Wolfgang, right on the lake shore, offered everything you need. The room with a balcony and comfortable bed was a great place to relax. The breakfast was rich and diverse, including ham, salami, cheese, delicious spreads, fresh pastries, eggs made to order, yogurts, fruits, vegetables. Having breakfast indoors or on the terrace with a view of the lake was great. I would like to return here!

Die Pension Bergfried in Hallstatt liegt 150 m vom Ufer des Hallstätter Sees entfernt. Alle Zimmer sind funktional möbliert, und einige bieten einen Balkon. All the linens/towels were clean as new. The design of the room was minimalistic and comfy. The room size is excellent. Location is 10 mins walk from the center but it’s better because the center is overcrowded and noisy.
