Excellent quality of the products, rich choice and beautiful presentation. It was just delicious. I am planning to come back there in future to spend more time. Offering view to the Five fingers Viewing Platform, Haus Salzkammergut is located in Obertraun, 5 km from the centre of Hallstatt and 400 metres away from Lake Hallstatt and the beach. There was a wide selection of meats, cheeses, fruits, breads, and pastries. There is a dining room on site where you can sit in the evening with a cup of coffee or tea at no extra charge. The view from the room was simply breathtaking — the lake in all its glory, visible both from the window and from the huge balcony outside the room. Everything was very clean and smelled fresh, and there were also high-quality, pleasant soaps provided, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The owners were extremely nice and friendly, attentive to our needs, answered all our questions, and even helped us with local discounts. Don’t forget to ask for a guest card to get a discount on the Dachstein cable car.

The windows offer peaceful, breathtaking views. The SPA area is a true relaxation haven—comfortable, professional, and beautifully designed. After warming up well in the sauna, it's worth taking a quick dip in the icy waters of Lake St. Wolfgang, surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. We loved the hotel’s unique style. It’s not just a place to stay but an experience we’ll always remember and want to return to.

You can dine in the on-site restaurant and sunbathe on the terrace which provides lake views. We stayed at this beautiful resort for 2 nights and booked a house for 4 people. To our surprise, the house was even better than expected — it had 3 spacious bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a large kitchen, and a comfortable living room. The resort is set by a stunning lake, and there's a ferry that takes you directly to Hallstatt. Don’t miss this opportunity — the views on the way to Hallstatt are absolutely breathtaking. The staff were very helpful and supportive throughout our stay. Highly recommended!

Pension Bergfried is located in Hallstatt, 150 metres from the shore of Lake Hallstatt. It offers functionally furnished rooms, some with a balcony.

All rooms are equipped with a seating area and satellite TV. The rooms have a double bed with separate mattresses. Location was at the far end of the town which was nice if you are looking for a quieter spot away from bulk of the tourists. Only 10-15mins walk to the buzzing town central. Extremely big room, very clean and comfortable. Hotels feel regularly maintained and well kept. Balcony overlooking the nature view was really nice. Great for couples and small group of friends.

Family-run for 150 years and renovated in 2014, Seewirt Zauner is situated right on the historic market square in Hallstatt’s car-free centre and 150 metres from the waterfront at Lake Hallstatt. All rooms offer lake or mountain views. We loved the room and the location. The beds were very comfy, and there were no disturbances from other rooms. The room was clean and tidy, and the bathroom was also spotless. We had a great view overlooking the lake, which was amazing. Check-in was also perfect. We had a hassle-free stay.
