So much to love about this property! It’s beautiful, historic with many original features, wonderful staff - we booked 5 minutes prior to arriving and they couldn’t do more to make us feel comfortable, beautifully run, amazingly comfortable beds (cycled from passau to Vienna averaging 70km per day and this was my best nights sleep by far!), wonderful breakfast. I really hope we are lucky enough to stay here again one day and have recommended it to family and friends already despite only having stayed there last night. Even the village and neighbouring villages are stunning and rich with history and wine

The hospitality was the best part of our stay and we could not ask for anything better. The property is kept in the best condition possible, especially the gardens and pool area.

The apartment is beautiful, spacious and well equipped. It has its own charm with the decoration and paintings, we absolutely loved it! The breakfast is freshly made by the owner, Heidi. It was nicely served and the portion is more than enough 😁 We really enjoyed staying there, and definitely would go back again! ☺️

We stayed in this hotel on a short cycling trip along the Danube. Their main business seems to be the restaurant, which by the way serves good dinner and ice-cream! The rooms are on the 2nd floor and despite the busy restaurant below, we slept well. And they obviously knew how to set up a good breakfast buffet!

Das Frühstück ist ausgesprochen vielseitig mit vielen frischen bzw lokalen oder selbstgemachten Zutaten, ebenso sehr gute Brotauswahl. Abendessen im Restaurant ebenfalls bestens zu empfehlen. Das Hotel inklusive Restaurant hat ein sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Gerne wieder!

One of the highlights of my stay was the room itself—it was exceptionally large and spacious, far more generous than I expected. It even had a full-size bath, which was a wonderful bonus after a long day of sightseeing. The bed was very comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Check-in was smooth and hassle-free, making the experience even better. If you're looking for a well-located, comfortable, and spacious stay in Melk, I highly recommend this hotel!
