It is only a 5-minute walk from Zermatt Train Station and Sunnegga Express funicular. Everything was great! Tasty breakfast, friendly staff, perfect location! Definitely recommend!

Regrets I do not remember her name. Each coming and going she was there with a smile. Answered all our questions. 5 stars! The breakfast was the best of all the hotels we stayed at during our 9 day journey- We stayed at a total of 4 hotels. The food was plentiful, well prepared and lots of options. We did have a very nice view of the Matterhorn, Room 502, I believe. The TV was on when we entered with a welcoming remark and then a video of a crackling fireplace. Perfect. Best of all was the employee at the check desk.

Backstage Hotel Serviced Apartments features apartments with full hotel services designed by architect Heinz Julen and offering views of the Matterhorn from their balcony or terrace. The Zermatt Matterhorn Express Cable Car is 250 metres away. It was very quaint and the views of the Matterhorn was spectacular!!! Daniel and his Team was top notch and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable.

In a quiet location of Zermatt, Hotel Romantica offers a garden, free WiFi, and rooms with flat-screen cable TV. The Sunnegga Funicular Railway is less than 700 metres away and hiking paths start nearby. Hoteliers Michelle and Thor (if I am writing correctly) were a lovely couple. Since going to Zermatt is an experience based travel in a limited time, getting the guidance for our travel from a local was so precious. We had just 2 days and one of it was rainy. With the help of Thor’s recommendations we could made the most out of it. Hotel was so lovely as well. Room was clean and felt like home.

The Sunnegga Express funicular and the Zermatt Train Station are 500 metres away. The scene is very very beautiful! I think this room own the best view of Matterhorn!

A very French-style interior, with jazz playing on the little satellite radio in the room.(it was refreshing after staying in other hotel rooms that felt so generic) Great breakfast spread and very friendly hospitable staff.
