We arrived early and were immediately given a room. The rooms are small, but there is enough space for two people. They are tidy, clean, there is always a bottle of water, and a small wardrobe. Breakfast is good with fruits. They have a large terrace on the roof. On the last day, when we checked out, it was raining heavily and they allowed us to return to the room for a few hours. Highly recommended.

This place has a rustic charm, smart casual decoration and lovely views. It is wonderful to sit outside having breakfast in the morning or sit in silence with a glass of wine in the evening. But it is the service level and friendliness of Franklin and his wife that really make this a special place. Before we arrived we got a welcome message with directions and when we arrived Franklin introduced us to the lodge. We also got recommendations for tours and restaurants. As it take some time to walk to the city centre there are bikes to borrow. A highly recommended place to stay outside San Pedro.

There's lots of common seating areas everywhere, indoor and outdoor. Staff are super helpful and friendly. They helped me book an affordable shared transport back to the airport on my last day that I wouldn't have been able to find/access on my own for that rate, and were super friendly/accommodating when I locked myself out of my room or safe (woops). Breakfast is very nice and goes until 11 AM which is a nice touch for those of us who like to sleep in. Beautiful desert oasis and would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!
