The hotel is about 900 meters from Peking Union Medical College Hospital. It is only steps away from Dengshikou Subway Station (line 5). Offering 2 dining options, it has free internet and a gym. The location can't be beat. Easy access to Chang'an Avenue and the Second Ring, but secluded from that traffic and indeed from all traffic by being behind the Regent Hotel. Surrounded by beautiful shops and sits on top of the Dengshikou subway stop. Room is spacious, quiet, and well supplied. As beautiful as is the location and room, is the price. I stayed during what seems like a low season and hadn't seen prices like this since the 1990s. Unless the price triples,I think this is now my favoriate hotel in Beijing.

The hotel was renovated and upgraded from Beijing's traditional Zhengsi Siheyuan and has rich cultural heritage. The design style is to retain the traditional red and green elements of the courtyard house outdoors and to combine the modern Zen-like tranquility indoors. Free WIFI is provided. Staff were amazing and the service is exceptional!

The reception staff and concierge were very friendly and professional – the concierge even arranged a great trip to the Great Wall with an English-speaking driver, which made everything so easy. The hotel offers beautiful views from the higher floors, a nice pool and spa, and even a robot that delivers items to your room – our kids absolutely loved that! Best of all, the hotel is directly connected to a shopping mall, so when it rained or got too hot outside, we had food, shops, and entertainment literally inside the hotel. A wonderful and convenient place to stay!

A beautiful, tranquil small boutique hotel with amazing hospitality. Staffs are very friendly, helpful, and professional. The breakfast was top-notch, and the room was stunning clean, bright, and so comfortable. I love the antique furnishings, traditional Chinese musical performance and calligraphy activities that the hotel provided every evening. Sipping authentic tea while enjoying traditional Chinese musical performance in a serene courtyard made it the perfect retreat after a long day in the sun. Highly recommended!

House in a well-preserved old residence, The Orchid Hotel, Beijing is located in the historic Hutong area in the heart of Beijing, a 12-minute walk from Houhai Lake, a popular area filled with various bars and restaurants. It features free WiFi in all areas and free bicycles. Staying at the Orchid Hotel has been the highlight of my trip to Beijing. The hotel is neatly tucked away in a very quiet part of the Hutong not far from the historic Drum Tower (can be seen from the hotel’s rooftop). Many landmarks, restaurants, bars, and shops are conveniently located nearby and can be explored by foot — my preferred option. In terms of the space, the hotel’s interior has been carefully designed to preserve the characteristics of the very historic neighborhood while adding a bit of modern aesthetics. Finally, I very much enjoyed interacting with the staff, who were very friendly and eager to share the real Beijing experience with the guests.

Transformed from historical buildings, the property is a 5-minute drive from Mutianyu Great Wall. A free fitness centre and free Wi-Fi access are provided. The service at the Brickyard was exceptional. A special mention to Stanley who helped us with any question we had. Nothing was too much trouble for him and the team - he sorted our transfers to and from the wall, arranged our transport to our villa. We were in a 4 bedroom house the village which was very clean and spacious It was a 10-15 minute walk from the Brickyard. Recommend the Chinese restaurant in the village which was part of the Brickyard. Location was great with lovely views but what made our break was the super service.
