The rooms and the public spaces are incredibly beautiful. The service is incredibly good and the food exceptional. They have on site gardens with much of the veggies picked fresh daily. They have horses available to ride in their beautiful 70 acre hacienda or you can walk down to the creek with lots of beautiful birds to see.

The welcome at the hotel was excellent. At the moment the main road in Villa de Leyva is closed and google maps gives you a lengthy detour as we found out. Make sure before your stay you get clear instructions for the short cut! The location of the hotel is perfect for the attractions nearby. The hotel itself is beautiful, the rooms are spacious and the showers are very good. The gardens are stunning too. The breakfasts were delicious and you eat outside on a beautiful patio.

Everything was to our satisfaction. The room was a considerable size with comfortable amenities. We enjoyed two nights at this property and always felt at home. The managers take great care and ensure a positive stay. The breakfast included was delicious and enough to leave you feeling satisfied. Overall, I can say it was an enjoyable stay. Make sure you say hello to Milo the dog who owns the property :-)
