This hotel is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in years. And I travel a lot. Hated to leave!

Surrounded by undulating vineyards, this charming and intimate country hotel offers free WiFi and modern, cosy rooms. It is conveniently located, 3 km from the Schwarzwaldhochstraße scenic trail and 9 km from the centre of Baden-Baden. Breakfast was excellent with convenient hours, the view from our room was stunning (like looking out at a fairy tale land), the staff was excellent and friendly. They were welcoming to our three children and met our needs for a baby bed easily. The rooms were very very roomy and comfortable!

This hotel is located in Speyer's Old Town district, just 100 metres from Speyer Cathedral. Hotel Domhof offers free WiFi is throughout the property. Very nice hotel in historic setting of Speyer, next to the Dome. Good parking facilities. Rooms are equipped very modern. Somewhat over priced, but this is conditioned by the outstanding location. In exchange you get a voucher for 10% discount in the nearby Brewery Domhof.

Offering a terrace and a shared lounge, Kleiner Rosengarten has rooms with air conditioning, free WiFi and a cable flat-screen TV. Located in Mannheim, it comes with a restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine. The room was great, BUT instructions for key things, like the AC, were only in German, so not tourist friendly. Similarly, good luck reading the sign at the unmanned reception... also only in German. It said to call a mobile number (a long distance call, generally) it was also an unmanned mailbox. Eventually I figured out to walk in through the restaurant around the corner where I was greeting in, you guessed it, German (and Italian): I speak neither. So, the instructions for getting into the hotel need help, but once it, it was fabulous. I cannot comment on the restaurant, as we ate elsewhere, but it looked busy.

Extremely clean, well sized ground floor room with high ceiling (corner room at ground floor) with large comfortable bed. great breakfast. Car charging facilities worked well (after we figured out you had to insert the cable at an angle and then twist the whole thing to plug in-had never seen that before but seems common in Europe).

Die Reichsstadt - Hotel Spa und Restaurant is a design hotel housed in a former brewery dating to the 16th century. The hotel’s classic-style rooms are decorated in raspberry and white tones. The staff were so friendly and helpful! The location, right in the heart of the old town, was great. The hotel was very nice. We stayed two nights and were really happy with our experience.

Heidelberg Suites is a boutique house on the site of a splendid villa with a private spa, which was originally built at the turn of the 20th century. The suites have been meticulously restored and stylishly designed by an internationally renowned architect and designer. Very clean, our room was spotless. Staff went out of there way to be helpful.
