All rooms have a barrier-free bathroom, and some have extra-long beds and a balcony with a view of the river and surrounding vineyards. The location was unbeatable as it is far enough from Cochem's noise and crowd, but with a short bus ride. It is also the best in Ernst as it has great view on all sides. The hotel also provided us with a free ticket for local transport that was a nice touch! The room was clean and very comfortable with decent size. The dinner menu changes every day and had the best food. After trying several places in the area we concluded the best meals we had were in the hotel and we would definitely stay all dinners there though the closing time was rather early for us, the hotel is quite flexible with its guests. Plenty of parking space in front of the hotel and the staff were all very nice and accommodating.

Set within a historic, 18th-century building, the Hotel Germania’s rooms have a private bathroom, modern furniture and a TV. Honestly, I liked everything about the hotel. Cleanliness, Breakfast, Location and especially the hotel team. The only two things that I disliked were in bed, it was too soft for me personally. Second, my room was on the 1st floor, towards the city side, and right below is a wine kiosk which made some of our nights tough, as I could hear people talking loudly until 2 am / 2:30 am.
