Walkable to the city. 2) Beautiful setting. The gardens where you can have breakfast is stunning and clean and well manicured. 3) Staff. Go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. We were let into our room early which was really appreciated. 4) Breakfast -- so good. Definitely get it at least 1 morning! 5) The room -- bathroom and room were delightful. The windows and view to the sea was amazing and really nice to wake up to that view. 6) Shower/bath -- both nice pressure and hot. All your little touches were there too. Dental package, soaps, conditioner etc. 7) Staff: Extra Special touches -- the staff are really nice here and really make you feel welcome. This is so important these days (please keep it up!) They even brought us a little snack of cheese/meat before bed the one night. So friendly and really try to make your stay comfortable. I feel like it would be perfect for a very special occasion because they'd make sure you're well taken care of.

Hotel Puerta del Mar is located in a quiet pedestrianised street next to the famous Balcón de Europa in Nerja, and just 100 metres from the beach. It has a rooftop saltwater pool and offers free WiFi throughout. This hotel exceeded our expectations. It is super central, 30 seconds from El Balcon de Europa. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The place is super clean. The breakfast was included. The pool is amazing and has an incredible view! Highly highly recommend this hotel!!
