Hôtel de Biencourt is located in Azay-le-Rideau, in the Parc naturel régional Loire-Anjou-Touraine. The location in the middle of the small village of Azay Le Rideau and close to the chateau is great. The staff, Thomas, Elisa and others are very helpful booking the restaurant for us and assisting. Their breakfast is very complete and a nice set-up. Restaurants nearby are charming. I had a tea break in the afternoon with my son at Biscuithé and it was awesome.

La Maison du Carroir is an elegant B&B located in central Blois, just 550 metres from Blois Castle. A homemade, continental breakfast is served every day, and the B&B features a terrace in the enclosed garden. Very nice property. Very quiet. The train in the far, barely audibile with open windows, adds to the romance of this antique building. Nice decorations with children toys from the early last century. Great breakfast made with love. He was very kind, communicative and always available, he showed us the entire hotel, explained everything in detail, helped us choose a restaurant, and even booked it for us. The breakfast he prepared was simple but excellent. The hotel itself is spotless and well taken care of, with spacious rooms, very comfortable beds, beautiful bed linen, and a very well-equipped kitchen. In the evening you can enjoy a drink: beers, wines and other beverages are available at very fair prices, with a surprisingly wide selection of wines. You can truly feel how much care goes into this place. And as a funny side note: they also have an absolutely lovely dog

Everything was perfect, clean, a good and very comfortable bed, fantastic bathroom with luxury equipment. Every detail was taken care of. The kitchen area was big, nice and had everything, you needed. The host couple were very nice and helpful. In addition we had dinner and a great evening with the two other couples, who stayed there from respectively Belgium and England - not their first visit there. The breakfast was excellent and homemade. We will be back 😃

Set in a 19th-Century historic mansion, La Maison Jules offers a living room with a fireplace, a garden and a terrace. It is located in the centre of Tours, just a 6-minute walk from the city’s cathedral. My husband and I loved staying at La Maison Jules. It's a beautiful old estate home in the heart of Tours. We arrived early and Alexandra greeted us at the door and we visited for a bit before leaving our luggage and going out to explore the town. The restaurants and shops are all within a 5-15 minute walk. Alexandra recommended modest and delicious French restaurants for lunch and dinner. La Maison Jules is beautifully furnished and, without being fussy, there is a lot of attention to detail in the beautiful wallpaper, drapes, linens, comfortable furniture, and overall ambiance. Our bedroom overlooking the garden/courtyard was spacious and very comfortable. The bathroom was huge with a large window overlooking the property and included every modern amenity. Everything was sparkling clean. I wish we could have stayed longer and I would have enjoyed getting to know Alexandra better. She was a generous and thoughtful hostess who cares very much about providing hospitality for her guests. Although there is typically a breakfast included, we couldn't enjoy it because we had to leave at 6am. Instead Alexandra provided us fresh croissants, yogurt, and coffee. We were sorry to leave and hope to return.
