Everything about this hotel was absolutely perfect. If I could give it higher that a "10," I gladly would. We biked the entire island, so I saw all the other hotel options. L'Ocean stands out. The location is superb - right on the ocean with breath-taking views from the room (including sunsets!). The staff is exceptional. To a person they were warm, accomodating, professional and yet fun and personable. In messaging prior to arrival, staff members were very helpful, even making dinner reservations at restaurants other than their own. We dined at the in-hotel restaurant, Le Bistrot, one night and it was delicious, and right on the water with another awesome view. Our room was lovely - large and bright with a very comfortable bed and fabulous blackout shutters for sleep. And, can I mention the view again??!! Breakfast on the balcony was delightful and so plentiful - fresh juice and fruit, baguettes and pain au chocolat, jellies and the butter..!! I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

An der Bucht von La Baule, 6 km vom Bahnhof La Baule Escoublac entfernt, bietet das Relais Thalasso Baie de La Baule ein Gourmetrestaurant, eine Terrasse und einen Garten. Wir waren im Juni für ein verlängertes Wochenende im Château les Tourelles in Pornichet und sind absolut begeistert. Schon bei der Ankunft beeindruckte uns das wunderschöne Anwesen – das Schlossambiente kombiniert mit moderner Eleganz ist wirklich etwas Besonderes. Unser Business Zimmer war stilvoll eingerichtet und sehr sauber Das Bett war herrlich bequem, und auch das Bad war großzügig und hochwertig ausgestattet. Das Spa war eines der Highlights – sehr gepflegt, mit Innenpool, Whirlpool, Sauna und einem großen Angebot an Anwendungen. Ein echtes Plus war die Nähe zum Strand – nur wenige Schritte, und man steht am Atlantik.
