The Mason Arms is located on Devon’s Jurassic Coast, just a 10-minute walk from Branscombe Beach. The room was big and well appointed, very comfortable. All of the staff were friendly and happy to help. The breakfast and evening meal were both delicious and the bar/restaurant made for a cosy retreat from the grey, February weather.

We live in Germany so staying in a country pub/hotel is always a treat for us, and this did not disappoint. We have 2 little dogs who were very welcome in both the pub and the room (and were even given treats and a cheeky sausage by the wonderful staff!). Our check in was smooth and we were able to book a table for dinner with ease. The staff were all super attentive and engaging. The room was comfortable and was everything we needed - even if the bed was a tad small, it still provided us with a solid nights sleep. However, without a doubt, the pinnacle of this stay was the food!! It was EXCEPTIONAL! And this is not exceptional for a pub, it was exceptional compared to anything! The duck was genuinely one of the best cooked and tastiest we’ve ever had! We’ve already recommended it to people and we are seeing how we can visit again on our next visit. Whether you stay for a night or not, the food HAS to be tried! Book a table and thank us later!

Splendid rooms, very comfortable and quite large. Extremely friendly hosts and staff. It’s a bit out the way but well worth the effort to get there.

Das Seawood House Boutique Hotel liegt in der kleinen Stadt Lynton, an der Mündung des Flusses West Lyn River und neben der Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway. The views are amazing, the property was just perfect and there is a footpath leading up to the town. The employee who was there on our stay took hospitality to the next level. He was attentive and so kind. Our remote didn’t work for the tv and I kept forgetting to tell him and we came back to our room done up and the remote already changed. The breakfast menu was amazing and so good!

Das Ness House Hotel empfängt Sie in einer 1810 erbauten, georgianischen Unterkunft am Rande des Dorfes Shaldon. Es hat alles gepasst. Es ist original aus wie auf den Fotos. Der Ort und die Aussicht sind wunderschön. Das Pub ist super, das Essen mega lecker und das Bier sowieso. Und hat es super gefallen und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!
