We love the Salty Monk this is the second time we have stayed it’s very comfortable and clean. The breakfast is very good and nothing is too much trouble. Beautiful garden and lots of parking.

Everything! Gorgeous clean room, comfy bed, lovely views, so many thoughtful touches such as the dog welcome box, and chocolates. Such a high quality finish and luxury feel. Amazingly dog friendly. Great breakfast, lovely friendly staff. Fantastic location, nestled in nature and by a dreamy river walk.

I loved the comfort and style of this hotel. The shower was impressively powerful . I was doing my whistle-stop tour of England visiting family and this was by far the best hotel. The village is a very typical picture postcard english village . A perfect base to explore Devon and Dorset.

The Bickley Mill is situated in the peaceful valley of Stoneycombe, conveniently located 15 minutes from Newton Abbot, Torquay, and Totnes.
