The Mason Arms is located on Devon’s Jurassic Coast, just a 10-minute walk from Branscombe Beach. Dating back to the 14th-century, this property offers an award-winning restaurant, locally brewed ales and free parking. The room was big and well appointed, very comfortable. All of the staff were friendly and happy to help. The breakfast and evening meal were both delicious and the bar/restaurant made for a cosy retreat from the grey, February weather.

The Hoops Inn & Country Hotel is a Grade II listed property nestled within unspoilt countryside and 5 minutes’ drive from a scenic coastal walk. Dartmoor and Exmoor national parks can both be reached in less than an hour’s drive. The property also has more than 8 acres of landscaped grounds for guests to enjoy. We were in the area for one night and were delighted to find this gem! We live in Germany so staying in a country pub/hotel is always a treat for us, and this did not disappoint. We have 2 little dogs who were very welcome in both the pub and the room (and were even given treats and a cheeky sausage by the wonderful staff!). Our check in was smooth and we were able to book a table for dinner with ease. The staff were all super attentive and engaging. The room was comfortable and was everything we needed - even if the bed was a tad small, it still provided us with a solid nights sleep. However, without a doubt, the pinnacle of this stay was the food!! It was EXCEPTIONAL! And this is not exceptional for a pub, it was exceptional compared to anything! The duck was genuinely one of the best cooked and tastiest we’ve ever had! We’ve already recommended it to people and we are seeing how we can visit again on our next visit. Whether you stay for a night or not, the food HAS to be tried! Book a table and thank us later!

Owners and staff were very welcoming and were helpful with our queries and owner even gave us a lift to a pub in Lynton! We stay here every time we are in Lynmouth 😊. Situated in the town of Dartmouth, The Dartmouth Boutique B&B is less than a mile from the banks of the River Dart. Nestled within the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, it offers free Wi-Fi, free on-site parking and a restaurant. Neil, the host, was charming and extremely helpful. The room and facilities were excellent and spotless and the private parking was a welcomed bonus. The view from the dining room is stunning!

Built in 18th century, this 4-star bed and breakfast is within 1.8 km of Dartmouth Castle and 19 km of Totnes Castle. Everything especially helpfulness of the people.

Less than 30 minutes’ drive from Exeter city centre, New Inn in Coleford provides luxurious rooms and high-quality dining. With free Wi-Fi and parking, this Devon inn serves a range of West Country cask ales and local specialities. Beautiful thatched Inn. Splendid rooms, very comfortable and quite large. Extremely friendly hosts and staff. It’s a bit out the way but well worth the effort to get there.

Situated in the small town of Lynton, by the estuary of West Lyn River and next to the Lynton and Lynmouth Cliff Railway, Seawood House Boutique Hotel boasts elegant rooms with sea view, free Wi-Fi, an outdoor seating area with panoramic views, and free parking. The views are amazing, the property was just perfect and there is a footpath leading up to the town. The employee who was there on our stay took hospitality to the next level. He was attentive and so kind. Our remote didn’t work for the tv and I kept forgetting to tell him and we came back to our room done up and the remote already changed. The breakfast menu was amazing and so good!

Everything breakfast was fab perfect location. We liked the attention to detail.

Our room was and very comfortable and very clean , the tv had live streaming of the sea so you could say we had a sea view
