An excellent hotel, a perfect stay. The staff were friendly, helpful and approachable, the rooms stylish and very comfortable, and the breakfast excellent. There was even a welcome note from the manager on arrival. The location, about 10 minutes' walk from the railway station and a couple into Abergavenny centre, can't be bettered. The bar was a lovely place for a drink. There's no restaurant, but you don't need one: sister hotel The Angel, in the centre, is the best place to eat in town. We will definitely return.

I loved the vibe in this hotel. Very characteristic but also modern comforts. Lots of activity in the bars and restaurants. Very lively. Beautiful spacious room. Friendly people. I loved the restaurant. We had the best meal of our trip to Wales here. Breakfast was outstanding. Great table service, drink top ups. Loved the hospitality. The town is lovely as well. Parking lot behind the hotel.

The Old Barn Inn est une auberge historique de campagne qui vous propose des mets délicieux et des chambres luxueuses. I can't fault this place! A beautiful, comfortable room with a super ceiling fan to keep it nice & cool. Had a delicious evening meal, served by very pleasant staff. Overall, a lovely place, can't fault it.
