You can take several nice short walks in the gardens of the property, one leads to the ruins of the Furness Abbey. Make sure that the hotel does not host a wedding during your stay if you want to avoid loud music

Le Westbourne Guest House est une belle maison d'hôtes située dans un quartier paisible en contrebas de Biskey Howe, dans le Lake District. amazing location. Wonderful breakfast. rooms are big enough and modern. The hotel is walking distance from the city center. new owners. will definitely come back.

L'hôtel dispose de quelques-unes des meilleures installations sur place dans la région, de la moitié des chambres avec bain à remous sur un balcon privé, ainsi que d'un spa avec un coin salon au bord... L'emplacement du complexe est stratégiquement intéressante car situé à quelques mètres du centre touristique de Windermere. Globalement l'endroit est calme, même si les murs entre les chambres sont assez fins. Le petit déjeuner est assez bon mais il faut éviter d'arriver après 9h30 car il ne reste plus grand chose et le buffet n est pas réapprovisionné.

Jerichos is a contemporary family-run guest house with stylish decor situated on a quiet side street in the heart of Windermere village. There is free Wi-Fi and free ample private parking. Perfectly located on a gorgeous and quiet street, with their own parking spaces. It's just one short block from all of the shops in Windermere, and a great hike to the lookout point for the views. Hop in your car for a short journey to the lake and more shops and restaurants. Beautifully decorated, quiet, and inviting for a night in with a glass of wine in the lobby. The breakfast was lovely too, and the staff were very friendly. Loved all of the details in the room and the property. If you're interested in less touristy food, it's only a 30 minute drive to Ambleside, which has some fantastic restaurants and less tourists.

Situé à seulement 1 kilomètre du lac Située à Windermere, cette belle maison victorienne bénéficie d'un emplacement paisible entre Windermere et Bowness. The included breakfast was incredible! The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and accommodating. The room is full of character, aesthetically pleasing and very thoughtfully arranged. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. We would definitely visit again.

L’établissement The Hare and Hounds, Levens vous accueille à Levens, à 18 km de ce lieu d’intérêt : The World of Beatrix Potter. Absolutely Fabulous! Staff, accommodations, meals, drinks and location, all stellar. Cannot recommend this lovely country pub & inn enough!

Situé à Ambleside, l’établissement Stiles of Ambleside possède une connexion Wi-Fi gratuite et offre une vue sur la montagne. If we could give this stay an 11: we would! The location was central, right in the heart of Ambleside. The room was warm and inviting with fluffy towels and the bed comfortable. The spa was lovely and was used every night after our daily hikes. We enjoyed the wine and other complimentary items every night while using the free wifi to plan or watching Netflix and Sky TV. The abundant breakfast options every morning were delicious and Niall with his local knowledge provided us with many helpful suggestions which we followed and enjoyed. Thanks for having us! We will definitely rebook when we return to Ambleside from Australia!
