Beautiful view 180 to wide open ocean.No road between the edge of the cliff and the water.Super quiet.5 minutes walk to ferry.Pool very clean.Big private balcony.Host Vicky so friendly,kind and helpful,and let us stay after check out for the 2.45 ferry.ALSo let us use her kettle to make tea.Everything you need in the village by the ferry,supermarket,mini markets,bakery and restaurants.Breakfast available although we didn’t have it.There were no buses after 3pm from Aegina town but there are taxis.There were ferries 3days a week from and to Piraeus.

The traditional, family run Hotel Vagia is built in Aeginian Architecture with respect to the surrounding environment, just 150 metres from the beach of Vagia.

All rooms are fitted with stone-paved floors and built-in beds. They open to private balconies overlooking the Saronic Gulf, pine forests and the Ancient Temple of Aphaia which is a 30 minute hike away. Each includes air conditioning, a TV, a mini bar and free WiFi. As a single girl traveling alone, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience at Vagia Traditional Hotel. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely safe and welcomed. Notis, the host, was incredibly kind and made sure I had everything I needed. The atmosphere was so peaceful and relaxing—perfect for some much-needed "me time." The breakfast was delicious, with fresh, local ingredients, and I loved enjoying it in the beautiful garden. The staff treated me like family, and I even made friends with some of the other guests. The location is ideal, close enough to explore the island but far enough to feel like a true escape. I left feeling refreshed and already planning my next visit. Highly recommend this gem for solo travelers!

Situated in Agia Marina Aegina, 60 metres from Agia Marina Beach, Rachel Hotel offers beachfront accommodation and various facilities, such as a bar. With a shared lounge, the 1-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, each with a private bathroom. The accommodation features room service, a tour desk and luggage storage for guests. The owner kindly upgraded the room level for free. The room was pretty, clean and had a seaview. The location of the hotel is great - close to the sea and markets. Also the port is 5 min walk. On the first floor there is a shop where you can find good clothes and nice souvenirs. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable!
