Adare Country House ligt in het dorp Adare, op 19 km van Limerick, en beschikt over een tuin, een terras en een gemeenschappelijke lounge met een televisie. Everything was perfect, the room was huge, cosy and very comfortable. We have been welcomed by Eillen who is adorable. The breakfast room was amazing, lots of light with a patio view, very quiet and with a lovely and detailed decoration.

De ontvangst was ontspannen, beleefd en vol humor, de kamer tot in de puntjes verzorgd, met een radiootje aan bij binnenkomst, het ontbijt luxe, lekker, met geweldige, attente bediening. De spa en het restaurant hebben we ivm een druk programma niet kunnen gebruiken, maar die zijn vast ook erg goed. Het hotel ligt aan de rand van het centrum op redelijke loopafstand van alles, inclusief het station, in een rustige omgeving aan de rand van een mooi park. Een aanrader in Limerick!

Ballycannon Lodge wordt door een familie beheerd en biedt een vriendelijke, huiselijke en comfortabele sfeer, een moderne omgeving en redelijk geprijsde accommodatie. Absolutely fantastic! Clean and specious room, looks more like a 5 Star hotel. Excellent and friendly owners. Breakfast next to the lodge is delicious. For sure I'll be back soon!

Gezellig hotel met goede bar en restaurant. Vriendelijk personeel die alle vragen beantwoord met plezier. Er is veel vrijheid omdat je niet alles op voorhand moet reserveren en je kan beslissen wat je wilt op de moment zelf.

Our room was very comfortable, well equipped with a large bed, a lounge area, ironing facilities and an office space. The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and spacious. The staff were professional and very helpful, from the reception to the housekeeping staff. We had a problem with our room thermostat, and the duty manager was amazing and so friendly and resolved the issue so efficiently, and we appreciated that we were given a discount for the night.

We travelled in Ireland for 3 weeks, and our stay at the George was the most memorable. We received a very warm welcome on arrival. Check-in was smooth and efficient. The on-site restaurant, Vincenzo's Grill serves delicious starters. We sampled a July special which included a tasting of almost all items on the starter menu, and they were all delicious. At breakfast, our family of 4 selected 4 different breakfast options, and we all thought our breakfast that morning was the best breakfast we had had in Ireland. Whether you prefer a full Irish, sweet pancakes, eggs Benedict or avocado toast, you will not be disappointed at the George. Every staff member we encountered was kind and thoughtful. It was indeed a very pleasant stay. And for the cherry on top - a few days after our stay, we realised we may have left a bag of shoes at the hotel. I messaged reception and received a very quick response stating the bag had been found. They offered to post it to us, but as we were passing that way en route back to Dublin we were able to go back to collect. The George got 4/4 votes from our family for best hotel in Ireland!
