The host Patrick Hayes and his wife Heidi were superb and made us as South Africans feel very welcome. Lovely to chat to them and an awesome breakfast!

With free parking, this guest house offers easy access to the stunning Irish countryside. Corcomroe Abbey, an early 13th-century Cistercian monastery, is 20 minutes’ drive away. This characterful property was full of quirks and personality. We really loved having access to common spaces (where we played some boardgames) and the owners kindly let some of our party stay late while the rest of us went horseback riding. They were able to accommodate my gluten allergy for breakfast, and my family members said the full Irish was amazing.

Guests can dine in Foley’s award-winning seafood and steak restaurant with sumptuous, classic décor or relax with a drink in the bar. An a la carte menu is provided daily, with set menus on offer for groups. Private dining rooms are also available. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location

Located just 1.5 km from Killarney High Street, Gleann Fia Country House offers guests e car charging and free parking. Located on the river Deenagh with acres of wild garden. We are located at V93 XY01 on a country road with no footpath or lighting. Use of a car or taxi is advisable. Beautiful place, room and location, excellent breakfeast and we received a comprehensive overview of activities and places to see in the area, fit to the length of our visit. Most of the suggestions we received turned out to be amazing. Can't wait to try the recipe we received for Bridget's brown bread. 10/10 would recommend.

A 2-minute walk from Killarney town centre, Killarney Lodge offers en suite rooms with free Wi-Fi throughout. The Lodge is within walking distance of the world renowned National Park.

Killarney Lodge is just 3 km from Lough Leane and boasts several wonderful golf courses on its doorstep. The Lodge also offers an extensive breakfast menu. The location was amazing and perfect for exploring Killarney town. The breakfast was also way above expectations and with 6 of us it was hard to find places to stay that were reasonable and didn't require us to drive or take taxis etc. We loved our stay and our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. We will for sure be back. Can't recommend this hidden little gem more.

Rooms are individually decorated with a lovely country house style. The rooms all have en suite showers, satellite TVs and tea/coffee making facilities. Irons, hairdryers and telephones are also provided and free Wi-Fi is available throughout. This is magnificent hotel where you want for nothing! The staff, Maura and Lorraine were so helpful. All the staff are accommodating and friendly. We were let down on our previous booking elsewhere and they welcomed us and made a very stressful situation into a positive one.
