Hotel Il Nido Sorrento ligt op het platteland van Campanië, op 10 minuten rijden van Sorrento, en kijkt uit op de Vesuvius. A short drive from the hotel to Sorrento Piazza Tasso. The hotel also offers shuttle service to the Piazza. Since we drive, we didn’t take the shuttle. There is free parking at the hotel for our entire 3 nights of stay. The room we booked comes with the beautiful view of the sea and Mt Vesuvius. Room is spacious, warmly heated, clean with comfortable bed well made everyday. The hotel decor is perhaps a bit old fashion, it is well kept and pleasing. The hotel serves a very good spread of breakfast with pride. Even when we showed up at 9.10am for breakfast, 20 minutes before it ended, the spread still looked very well laid out and appetising. They served good dinner too which was convenient for us one evening when we didn’t feel like putting on warm clothings to be out for dinner in a wintry evening. The owners who are brothers and sister run the place themselves with warm, friendly service and response to enquiries clearly.

Het Hotel La Badia ligt op een heuvel op 2 km van het centrum van Sorrento en biedt een buitenzwembad, kamers met airconditioning, en een terras met een panoramisch uitzicht over de Baai van Napels. This hotel, without previously knowing me, helped me arrange a special request I will forever be grateful for! Besides, the hotel is very enchanting, elegant, and authentic, reminiscent of rustic Italian haciendas, with many terraces full of plants offering sea views (even breakfast is served on a beautiful terrace directly overlooking the sea) and beautiful gardens all around the property; it's practically an estate. You need to be there to fully experience the vibe, but it is on par with much more expensive accommodations you can find in Tuscany, for example. Our room was cute with a direct view of the sea, Mount Vesuvius, and the Sorrento coastline. Everybody from the staff was incredibly hospitable, dedicated and pleasant. This could be a luxurious 5-star hotel with certain upgrades, but I think it's better to stay exactly as it is, offering authentic experience at a reasonable price.

Location is great for making trips to Amalfi, Ravello and Positano by bus and boat. Fjordo di Furore is a small but breathtaking beach accessible through one of the several stairways on the mountain from Hotel. The hotel itself is far from the busy tourist spots however, so one can enjoy a relaxing, calm environment and also a stunning panorama. Staff is super kind and helpful, cuisine is great.

Hotel Plaza ligt in het hart van Salerno, pal tegenover het treinstation en dicht bij het busstation en de mooie boulevard aan zee. Er wordt dagelijks een ontbijtbuffet verzorgd. Staff excellent. Breakfast very good. Very close to train station with Catholic church across the plaza. Also close to port for Amalfi coast ferry. We stayed here in May also and returned 30 NOV.

Na een dag de prachtige Amalfikust te hebben verkend, kunt u heerlijk ontspannen op uw balkon in de stad Sorrento. De accommodatie bevindt zich op slechts 100 meter van het station in hartje Sorrento.... Very good location, excellent service

Set in its extensive garden, 500 metres from the Pompei ruins, Hotel Diana offers free WiFi in all rooms and a shared terrace. Private parking is free onsite. The rooms were comfortable and clean. There was a problem with heat in the bathroom at first, but they jumped right on that and fixed it. The back garden is a lovely place to sit and relax after an exhausting day of hiking around Pompeii.

Residence Le Terrazze beschikt over panoramische terrassen met een buitenzwembad en een prachtig uitzicht op Sorrento, de Golf van Napels en de Vesuvius. Het ontbijt werd opgediend buiten op het terras. Geen zelfservice, of buffet. Beperkt maar voldoende. Personeel was super vriendelijk en heel behulpzaam. Na het uitchecken kregen we de vraag of we nog graag een flesje water hadden (gratis) gezien de hoge temperaturen. Heel attent! Er is ook een gratis shuttlebus, die om het half uur mensen oppikt aan het hotel (en aan andere hotels onderweg). Na 15min sta je in Sorrento. Handig!

Hotel Piazza Bellini is gevestigd in een gebouw uit de 16e eeuw in het historische centrum van Napels, op 300 meter van het metrostation Dante. Our apartment was really spacious and the rooftop patio absolutely superb, giving us wondeeful 360 deg views.
