Breakfast was the best we had in Italy so far and on top of that, the hospitality was above and beyond

The Marulivo is a unique design hotel. Once a monastery, it dates back to the 14th century. You'll never forget the view across the Palinuro coast from the panoramic terrace.

Each guest room is elegant and comfortable and comes with satellite TV and air conditioning. Choose the superior room or junior suite to have a beautiful sea view. Pisciotta is a small mountain town overlooking the ocean. It has all of the necessary amenities including cafes and restaurants, and a charming piazza. The Marulivo Hotel is a short walk from the main piazza by steps and alleyway streets. When you arrive at the hotel, you realize what a special place it is. A lovely courtyard with cooling plants and steps to the terrace and bar with a panoramic view of the coastline. Breakfast is an abundant buffet style served on the terrace, using delicious local produce. The room was comfortable, quiet and clean, and had a solid feel with a lovely ensuite shower room and a wonderful view of the sea. However, the real treasure of Marulivo Hotel and the two owners, Lea and Massimo. They are both engaging, helpful, knowledgeable and so friendly and made our stay so very enjoyable.

Offering free Wi-Fi, the air-conditioned rooms at San Francesco come with a flat-screen TV, tiled floors and a private bathroom. Some rooms have a sea-view balcony. This is a little gem of a hotel. An old monastery that is simply and beautifully done. The staff go out their way to make you feel at home. Breakfast was simple but good served on the terrace overlooking the sea. Dinner one evening was outstanding--beautifully served and delicious. Wish we could have stayed a week!!!
