I was lucky this was one of the very few choices for a hotel that had left by the time I booked my trip - I might have missed this gem otherwise! I had already read the stellar reviews about the place but it surpassed my (already high) expectations. Of course the hotel is beautiful, exceptionally clean, and small but well equipped with everything that's necessary for a comfortable stay. It also has views towards the inviting sea or towards the hill with the castle on top that looks like it was taken out of a too-good-to-be-true book about Tuscany. Still, what beats all of this is the care of Elena and Roberta who are there as if to welcome you into their home. They are kind, caring, helpful with the logistics, and always carry a smile! When we left, we felt we were leaving our friends who'd hopefully wait for us to return. If I find my way back to Castiglione, I will run to this place. Until then, I recommend it to those finding their way there in the meantime!

With comfy bed and pillows. The staff was really helpful. We had a late self check in, they provided very detailed instructions. There is a nice restaurant downstairs with a great variety of wine and food.

We also appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made it easy to relax after a day exploring the city. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful — fresh pastries, excellent coffee, and a generous selection of both sweet and savory options, all served in a bright and pleasant dining area. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better. Just a short walk from the beach and conveniently close to restaurants, shops, and the main attractions, yet still in a peaceful, safe neighborhood. Overall, Hotel Tirrenia offers fantastic value for money, impeccable cleanliness, and truly heartfelt hospitality. I would gladly stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
