The staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is great. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Breakfast had all we needed.

The Excelsior is located in the city centre of La Maddalena Island, a 2-minute walk from the ferries to/from Palau. There is free public parking in front of the hotel.

Location, Location, opposite the ferry, great views, breakfast and very helpful staff. Go to the first bar above the Fishmarket, excellent views, nibbles and on Thursday early evening we had music.

Had no contact with personnel except for a brief greeting one morning and they left a note upon arrival saying something would be fixed the following day which was done efficiently. That was just fine. Room spacious though sparsely decorated; fridge appreciated; bathroom superb and super modern; just steps from prime restaurant and shopping street; easy walk to rail station and convenient to busses. Pleasant, easy, and good value stay.

Everything abouy it. The place is situated in the middle of the city. 9 min to the old town. Very clean and comfortable room. It was a luxury to have a nice coffe when you woke up and bottles of water which was not provided by other hotels in the area.so a big plus for that. The owner Francissca was very kind to give us instructions over whatsapp through every step of check in checkout process as she was unavailable to come personally. The bed was made and cleaned everyday. Over all 10 out of 10.

Our stay was perfect!!! I truly enjoyed to stay here since we had all the comfort, kindness, and cuddles from the staff 😁 the food is amazing. The swimming pool and the gym are very good. In addition, there is a dedicated parking area, that is hotel property. Last but not least, if u want additional relax, there is the wellness area as well! I truly recomend this hotel for your vacation in South Sardinia! Sulcis Inglesiente worth it.. it was incredibly wonderful!

Fabulous coffee, great breakfast with a very good selection and superb service. The setting is very pleasant looking out over the garden too. It was also possible to have an evening meal - we ate in three times and the food was excellent everytime. Janas Country Resort is one of our all time favourite places to stay and the family who run it are all the most amazing hosts - thank you for making our stay so lovely.
