Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). It has a beautiful Japanese garden and a large living room, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Our friendly mascot cat will welcome you! We spent two nights on the island, and it was absolutely amazing! In the evenings, after all the tourists have left, you can take a peaceful walk near the water and feel like you have the entire island to yourself. The guest house we stayed at was fantastic! Traveling with our 5-month-old, we felt incredibly welcomed. Our room was huge, especially compared to other accommodations in Japan, and the common area downstairs was spacious and inviting. They offered a mini buffet for both breakfast and dinner, which was just perfect for us. The atmosphere was relaxed and laid-back. The guest house is conveniently located halfway between the ferry terminal and the gondola. In the morning, we enjoyed a lovely walk through the park to the gondola and managed to beat the crowds. Highly recommend! They also has two onsen options which you essentially book just for your family.

Combining modern design with a homely decor, Kikunoya Hotel offers both Western and Japanese-style rooms. Entertainment options include cable channels and a DVD player. I arranged a special surprise with the hotel to propose to my girlfriend, initially disguised as a birthday gift with a room upgrade and room service dinner. This review is thus not representative for the room linked to this booking. However, I want to specifically praise the hotel staff, with a specific shout-out to Katagiri. They went above and beyond to make this an unforgettable experience and I cannot thank them enough! The view from the seaside rooms is amazing and the beds are very comfy, the traditional dinner is on point and the staff is just wonderful.

Oyado Tsukiusagi is set in Miyajima, 600 metres from Five Storey Pagoda, less than 1 km from Itsukushima Shrine, as well as a 15-minute walk from Daisho-in Temple. It is located 2.4 km from Tsutsumigaura Beach and provides luggage storage space. Museum of History and Folklore is 1.1 km from the ryokan and Shiraito Falls is 1.5 km away. Thank you for a beautiful stay here. There are only a few rooms, which makes it super private and comfortable. The staff is exceptionally friendly. The rooms are spacious and super clean and comfortable. They even provide free coffee in the lobby. Location is superb, just 3min walking from the ferry port (but still super quiet and peaceful)

The location of the Hotel Cycle is perfect. on the waterfront and a 7 minute walk from the train station. The bakery is wonderful for all your breakfast or afternoon needs to enjoy either inside or in the sunny promenade. Highly recommend the restaurant, service, food fabulous and make sure to have fruit gin and tonic. Comfortable beds, washing machines on site and a big deep bath for soaking after a day or twos bike riding. All staff amazing from the people at the front reception desk to the staff in the restaurant. Don’t miss this town and place on your next trip to Japan.

The air-conditioned rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. Each comes with a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle with green tea bags. All rooms have a private toilet, and some have shared bathroom facilities. Amazing room with view on the ocean. Very comfortable futon beds, nice public bath. Great location.

Washington Hotel Hiroshima is a 15-minute walk from Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and 20-minute walk from Hiroshima Castle. Hiroshima Museum of Contemporary Art is a 10-minute drive away. The property offers easy access to multiple shops and restaurants nearby. Great location for a quick trip in Hiroshima. Was a short walk to peace park and their are a lot of stores behind the hotel.

The memorable breakfast spread is fantastic, loved the food variety and options, which included beef steak slices as well. There's even soft ice-cream available, which for some hotels may only be reserved for dinners. They have a robot going around for patrons to place their used cutlery which many have fun doing so.
