Opened in April 2013 with brand new facilities, Piece Hostel Kyoto is conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from JR Kyoto Station. It features a spacious and comfortable lounge, a tatami (woven-straw) terrace and a wall-size map with latest event information around Kyoto. Free WiFi is provided throughout the property, while portable WiFi devices are available for guests to use during their stay for an additional fee. The staff was great, they helped us deliver the phone my father forgot in the bullet train to the hostel, which at the Lost and Found office told us is going to be very difficult for an accomodation to do. The place is very clean, showers are separated in sort of mini rooms so there is a lot of privacy. There are dyson hair dryers which was unexpected for a 2 star hostel. The beds were comfortable as well. Location is walking distance from the main station and was very practical.

Rooms are big and nicely decorated. The staff has good English and an amazing service attitude - Simply beyond expectations. Location was great- just near the Kyoto station but without hearing any noise. We hope to return

Nestled in a quiet residential area, Kyoto Brighton Hotel is located in the heart of Kyoto, a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Imperial Palace.

All guest rooms are non-smoking and soundproofed. An air-purifier/humidifier and a matcha tea set are provided in each room for guests' comfort. The bathroom comes with a deep bathtub where guests can relax after a long day. The staff were very welcoming. The Japanese breakfast was exceptional. The bike hire was very convenient and enhanced our trip. Proximity to Imperial Palace was wonderful.

Ideally located just a 2-minute walk from lively Nishiki Market and Ponto-cho Street, Matsui Honkan boasts large public baths and chic Japanese-style rooms. It is within a 10-minute walk from Shijo, Karasuma and Kawaramachi subway stations. Free Wi-Fi is provided at the public area. This might have just been our most comfortable stay ever. The rooms were convenient and clean and the staff was so helpful! The hotel is truly beautiful and provided a great authentic Japanese experience. We ordered the breakfast, which was served to our room. We also got a delicious welcome drinks and sweets. The staff was kind and explained evevrything to great lengths. We were allowed to use the beautiful clothes provided and were alllowed to bring the drawstring bag home with us. This ryokan was defenitely worth the stay and we will defenitely come back if we ever visit Japan again!

This non-smoking hotel provides in-room massages service can be arranged. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the premises. It was very cozy and lovely — the people who work there are so kind. The room is bright and clean, the futons are comfortable, and they give you beautiful kimano.

Ryokan Kyoraku is centrally located just a 7-minute walk from JR Kyoto Station's north exit. It's a 3-minute walk from Higashi Hongan-ji temple. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

All rooms have air conditioning and an LCD TV, while some are fitted with an attached bathroom. Really nice stay! I enjoyed it so much. Location was very convenient, walk distance to the Kyoto station, I loved the room, the staff was very friendly and attentive, the quietness was fantastic, what a cozy place.
