Situated in the Asakusa area, Ryokan Asakusa Shigetsu has a history of 70 years. The accommodation boasts a view of the Tokyo Skytree from its Hinoki wood bath.

There is a bath for each gender on site and both the female and male baths offer a view of Senso-ji Temple’s Five-storied Pagoda. Location couldn’t be any better- smack in the middle of the market and the temple. A little oasis there! The snacks and beverage station was a nice addition and the staff were super friendly.

Shiba Park Hotel is just a 2-minute walk from Onarimon Subway Station and a 4-minute walk from Daimon Subway Station. The spacious rooms include a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi is available at all areas. Public parking space is available on site at an additional charge. One of the best hotels during our Japan trip! Good value with exceptional service and friendly staff who speak English well. It is difficult to find a room with 3 beds in Tokyo, I’m glad we managed to find Shiba Park hotel. The library hotel concept is also very interesting - I managed to sit down and flip through some photo books. Amenities are generously provided and of very high quality. Will definitely come back again!
