The Belle Rive is a 5-minute drive from Night Market and National Museum. Excellent hotel in old colonial style, located in the ancient Luang Prabang, with the Mekong River in front and in walking distance to most historic temples. The restaurant at the riverside is top. The rooms are full equiped, wide, with huge confortable beds.

Set amidst tropical gardens, each room is uniquely decorated in handmade textiles and comfortable linens. The well-appointed rooms include air conditioning and an en suite bathroom with shower facilities. I was so happy as soon as I arrived. I was received by a courtyard that was very colorful and full of plants, flowers and butterflies. The front desk staff received me and sat me down, and provided me with a cooling glass of drink while they set up the check in for me. I was given a room key and bicycle 🚲 for the stay. There is a tuktuk driver who would be there to take you when you need it. Once I was led to the room in The Mekong Villa, I was so happy to see the Mekong river was in view from the bed and the balcony which comes with a lovely view. Staff helped me organise the sunset cruise as well as the trip to the waterfall, and made sure to check in on me during the time while I was out. I was also offered a ride to the airport when I left. Staff always greeted me immediately as soon as I showed up at reception and answered any questions I might have had. Everyone was so hospitable. Everything was super lovely and I loved the sunset from the treehouse. The room also comes with beautiful sunlight. The cats on the property are very sweet too. There are a few of them. The place isn't far from town centre either. I rode every day into town for outings on the bicycle and ate out whenever I felt like it. The bicycle ride takes about 12min each way, it was always very pleasant to ride into town and ride home to a colorful villa. It was truly a great home for a week. I will surely return here again.

An outdoor pool, spa treatments and lovely rooms with free Wi-Fi are available. The staff at Homm were outstanding on all fronts. Friendly, warm and very efficient. We loved the breakfast selection and setting.

Staff can assist with travel information and laundry services. My stay at Villa Chitdara was outstanding. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and the balcony with a view of the garden was a bonus. Breakfast was outstanding- numerous options, including a cooked breakfast, fresh fruit and good coffee. The location was perfect; within walking distance to the sights and eateries, yet on a quiet street. I will stay here next time I am in Luang Prabang. Highly recommend.
