From the very first moment, our stay at Nisala Arana was a total success – and became the absolute highlight of our Sri Lanka journey. This hotel was far more than just a place to stay; it felt like a true home full of soul, nestled within a lush, peaceful garden paradise. The expansive garden is a tranquil oasis right in the heart of vibrant, rural Bentota. We loved exploring the quiet backstreets by bike (freely available), observing local life and reaching the serene, uncrowded beach in just minutes – perfect for swimming and surfing. A fantastic Ayurveda centre was also nearby. The accommodation is stylish, immaculately kept, and yet wonderfully welcoming – it immediately gave us a sense of belonging. Special thanks go to General Manager Conrad, who hosted us with incredible warmth, attentiveness, and insight. He was not only a perfect host, but also a cultural guide and a true friend – making everything possible, from a fresh seafood BBQ to tracking down a lost phone. Even the owner went above and beyond – including sourcing a guitar for us! We actually stayed at Nisala Arana twice – once at the beginning of our trip, and again at the end. That’s how much we loved it. The second time we brought friends and enjoyed an almost private guesthouse experience, complete with a talented chef who prepared amazing curries and menus tailored to our tastes. In short: a place with true heart, deep respect for its guests, and a very personal level of service. Perfect for families, couples, and anyone seeking a stylish yet relaxed atmosphere – not about Instagram hype, but about real soul.

Die Shangri-lanka Villa ist von viel Grün umgeben und begrüßt Sie nur 10 Gehminuten vom Strand von Bentota entfernt. Sehr schöne Bungalows top sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Pool spitze. Personal spitze. Zum hervorragenden Strand 3 Tuktuk Minuten oder 10-15 min zu Fuß. Küche auch sehr gut!

Nur wenige Schritte vom Strand von Bentota entfernt bietet das Sandali Walauwa Zimmer mit Holzmöbeln und einem eigenen Balkon mit Poolblick. Im Businesscenter nutzen Sie den Internetzugang kostenfrei.... It was my favourite hotel i stayed in Sri Lanka. It's super beautiful and i think its cheap. They have pool with a very beautiful garden. The rooms are huge. We had a big balcony aswell. And they had for us a Elephant with a towel and flowers in the bed. Nice touch The food really good and the staff super amazing everyone super nice. It's like 3 minutes walking to the beach and just in front have the train railway. You can see it like 3 times per day, which its really cool. They offer activities like go to a lake to see the mangrove in a boat or make a massage in the ayurveda place that they have. The best part they have 3 baby cats and they care them a lot. It's the first pet friendly hotel i stayed on Sri Lanka. Amazing experience. The beach beautiful and not crowded and very close its wave restaurant, super good place for eat.

Taj Bentota Resort & Spa - is located in Sri Lanka's Galle District, offering breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean. Pampering spa services, an outdoor pool and 5 dining options are provided. Wir hatten mit dem Zimmer 407 ein sehr großes , renoviertes Zimmer was mit einem Zustellbett für uns und unsere 2 Kinder absolut ausreichend war! Toller, großer Balkon, großes Bad! Safe! Das komplette Personal vom Roomservice, über Kellner, Köche und Rezeption ist super freundlich und liest einem jeden Wunsch von den Lippen ab! Das Frühstück ist sehr gut, frische einheimische Gerichte (warm) über pancake, frisch zubereitete Omeletts, Obst, Joghurt, Cornflakes, Kaffee, Tee , Cappuccino, Käse, Wurst, Salate, .. zwar ohne große Abwechslung aber trotzdem sehr gut (wenn man meckern mag)! Toller Pool, sehr schöne , gepflegte Gartenanlage mit direktem Zugang zum wunderschönen Meer! Breiter Sandstrand, Freizeitangebot vom Surfen über Rundflüge, und Arrangement von Ausflügen! Top! Nette Bar im Hotel, tolle vom Hotel lizenzierte Tuktukfahrer, sehr vertrauensvoll und teilweise deutsch sprechend! Englisch ist überhaupt kein Problem! Wir hatten wegen der Abluft des Restaurants gefragt ob wir das Zimmer tauschen können! Wunsch wurde sofort erfüllt obwohl wir am Ende wegen des großzügigen Zimmers 407 nicht getauscht haben ! Der stellvertretende Hoteldirektor kümmerte sich persönlich… auch eine Verlängerung von 2 Tagen wurde problemlos arrangiert! Während unseres Aufenthaltes vom 15.12. bis 25.12. waren ganz wenige Deutsche da! Engländer, Inder und Sri Lankisch stämmige aus der ganzen Welt! Sehr angenehmes Publikum wobei ganz Sri Lanka uns Deutsche vermisst und sich freuen würden wenn wir Sri Lanka neu entdecken würden! Unsere Bewertung ist aus diesem Grund auch so ausführlich! Das Taj und sein Team sind mehr als einen Aufenthalt wert!

Das Haus Berlin liegt inmitten einer wunderschönen Gartenanlage und bietet Ihnen einen erholsamen Aufenthalt in geräumigen Zimmern. Wonderful owners who will make their best to make your stay comfortable and with a reasonable price. Great food, especially their fried rice. Can really recommend!
