The house itself nicely decorated for Christmas, and rooms are big enough to keep luggage. The caretaker Sita was very humble and helpful person.. We reached well past 11pm, welcomed us with smiling face. Though we ciuldn't meet the owner, but he was always there to help/suggest from the date of booking. Many eateries are near by... We would love to stay again in future.

The room was very clean and comfortable, we really enjoyed their breakfast. Ordered a special lunch based on Siva's recommendation,Jaffna Crab curry and fresh water jumbo tiger prawns devil both tasted outstanding. Kudos to the chef who made those outstanding dishes which we all thoroughly enjoyed it and also a big thank you to Roger from dinning for his absolute outstanding service which made our day so special.

Zylan Colombo is 2 km from National Museum and Independent Square, while Colombo City Centre is 3 km away. The resort is a 5-minute drive from Boralella Bus Station. We were only in Columbo for one night at the end of our 2 week trip to Sri Lanka but wished we could have stayed here longer. We booked a suite and a double room, both of which were furnished to a very high standard. We generally like to go out and discover different restaurants but due to time we had lunch in the hotel which was Thai and Japanese. The food was so good that we had dinner there too! There are restaurants on the ground floor and also the rooftop which was lovely at night to eat under the stars. Great cocktails too.

The size of the room was enormous, excellent cleaning conditions both the room and the bathroom. The mattress and the pillows were in very good condition, with fresh soft high quality bedsheets, the staff was helpful, warm and very hospitable! The location is in a nice district with many options around in terms of food, transport, shopping. We had our own balcony and we got served coffee in the room without any additional charge! After 2 months travelling in India, our stay in Silvikris Villa was the best welcome of Sri Lanka! The small details of the interior decoration, the facilities and the space management of the Villa made it one of our favourite accommodations that we ever stayed! We might spend another night in Colombo and definetely that would be in Silvikris Villa!!
