Impeccably clean, with delicious food and incredibly kind staff. They went above and beyond to solve a problem we had, arranging everything perfectly for the next day. Super organized and attentive. Highly recommended for an exceptional stay! Dinner was excellent, with an exceptional rice & curry and delicious kottu (a local specialty).

Ein historischer Bungalow aus der Kolonialzeit beherbergt das The Elephant Stables, eine schöne Unterkunft mit Blick auf das üppige Grün von Kandy. This place is lovely. We loved the family tent, which is a small appartment in itself, with a lot of space (parent’s room, kid’s room, living room, big modern bathroom). It was very clean. Breakfast was generous and delicious. The set up for pool and meals is gorgeous.

This villa is a short walk to Kandy lake and about 10-15 mins to the city centre. The villa is an older property with nice views across the valley. We enjoyed watching the monkeys from our balcony as they made their way across the rooftops everyday. The host Shenani and her staff are a delight. Shenani is a great cook and we enjoyed beautiful Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner. Shenani also gave us some excellent options for temples to visit in the nearby countryside. Very helpful with onward transport too. Shenani also surprised us with chocolate brownies baked from the Edmonds cookbook which any Kiwi reading this will know well.

Die Unterkunft selbst überzeugt mit einem traumhaften Ausblick, liebevoll eingerichteten Zimmern und einem Service, der keine Wünsche offenlässt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Organisation unserer Weiterreise – alles wurde für uns arrangiert, sodass wir uns um nichts kümmern mussten. Der Sky Pavillon war für uns nicht nur ein Ort zum Übernachten, sondern ein echtes Erlebnis. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Das Sigiriya liegt im Kulturdreieck von Sri Lanka, das zum UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe gehört. The view from the swimming pool is amazing. We had a lovely 2 nights here. Very good location.
