Best location i have stayed yet in Sri Lanka. This pearl has everything you need. The bed is great, the shower is gorgeous and the personel is the best i’ve seen yet. They will help you with literally anything you need and wil accomodate it for you. If something on the menu is not like your taste, they can change it to your own liking. They have a beautiful big tent on the outside of the hotel, which has a bathtub, AC and literally everything you need. There are no downsides i could mention. Like i have said…. The best location in Kandy

Excellent hotel. Great room &bathroom. Lovely swimming pool which we had to ourselves. Best was the wonderful staff and head chef. They took care of us extremely well even cleaning our muddy shoes without us asking. The evening meals were fantastic. Cooked with love and care. The best hotel we were in during our Sri Lankan stay.

Great and very friendly staff in all departments of the hotel. The hotel’s very own naturalists are brilliant and are assisting with everything you need for a successful trip or excursion - water, juices, soft drinks and cool refreshing towels are always part of the service. We enjoyed the big pool for all hotel guests as well as our private pool next to the room which helped us to feel really relaxed. The hotel is a true sanctuary and we enjoyed the nature and natural sounds every second of our stay. A minimum 3 nights stay is highly recommended to have enough time to discover the historic places and the nature in this part of Sri Lanka as well as to relax on property (we stayed 4 nights).

Beautiful place. Isolated from the town but the location is beautiful. You can ride bike around the rice field and lake. If you’re lucky see an elephant. The woman at the elephant centre was very nice and we learnt a lot! I am glad we stop for a chat. The diner experience was amazing! We booked the traditional diner with 27 dishes cooked traditionally in clay pot and open fire. I recommend this hotel!

The location was fantastic. We loved the pool overlooking the river and surrounded by nature. We went on a short boat safari and the guide was brilliant at spotting lots of birds and interesting facets of life on the river. The hotel is very comfortable and the staff extremely attentive.

Welcoming guests with an outdoor swimming pool and sauna facilities, Arika overlooks peaceful greenery views. Guests enjoy comfortable guestrooms with air conditioning and a private terrace.

Amazing experience, for quite a high-standard place! We got upgraded to a "honeymoon" room with a stunning panoramic view on Kandy and the surrounding hills, with a lot of birds and a great sunset/sunrise. The personnel was very available and helped us with our requests. The breakfast was very tasty and authentic. The hotel is a little outside of the busy center, which creates a more relaxed atmosphere, but the city can be reach in a 15min walk/5 min three-wheeler ride.
