We recently had the pleasure of staying at a charming villa with our family, and it was an unforgettable experience. The villa featured two spacious and well-appointed rooms, each exuding a delightful Colonial style that transported us to a different era. The two common areas provided ample space for relaxation and family activities, adding to the villa's welcoming atmosphere. One of the highlights of our stay was the amazing breakfast served each morning. The variety and quality of the food were exceptional, making every breakfast a delightful start to our day. Additionally, the villa was impeccably clean, which made our stay all the more comfortable and enjoyable.

The Galle Fort Hotel began life as an 18th Century Dutch villa and along the way has taken many guises from RAF barracks, post office, bakery, lapidary and in the recent past a pitch for the Fort’s... Fabulous hotel in the heart of Galle Fort. Amazing staff, very cool building and interiors and we had a huge room and bathroom that opened onto the pool. Breakfast was superb on the outside verandah. Couldn’t fault this hotel its so worth staying at.

Das Zimmer ist grosszügig und sehr sauber, es gibt warmes Wasser, einen Fön, einen Kühlschrank und sogar eine Mikrowelle. Das Frühstück lässt ebenfalls keine Wünsche offen (Tee, Saft, Omlett, Ei, Früchte, Toast etc.) Das Haus ist sehr schön und liegt nahe vom Strand, Restaurants, Bahnhof etc. und trotzdem ist es ruhig. Pady ist ein ausgezeichneter Gastgeber, ich habe mich vom ersten Moment an wohl bei ihm gefühlt.

Beautiful location right by the ocean and fort, short walk to shops and restaurants. The food they cooked was delicious and the rooftop bar and balcony had such beautiful views! The staff were incredibly kind and friendly! Could not reccomend this place more, great value for money!!

The views from the property were absolutely amazing! We could just hang out by the pool in the morning and watch the peacock and monkeys fool around which was a blast. The room was perfect with high ceilings, an abundance of natural sunlight (can shade if you want), and as clean as can be. The host and staff couldn’t have been more kind! They helped arrange rides, provided local dining options, activities to consider…pretty much you name it! The breakfast spread we had in the morning was, without question, the best we had during our trip! We couldn’t have been happier with the little time we were able to have there & we owe it all to the amazing people running it!!! ☺️

I recently stayed at this charming homestay located within the historic Galle Fort, and it was an unforgettable experience. The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the fort, with easy access to its cobblestone streets, boutique shops, and delicious restaurants. However, the real highlight of this place is its stunning rooftop. The rooftop offers one of the breathtaking sunset views I’ve ever seen, specially you can enjoy lot of people hanging around on holidays with their family & friends , watch locals playing cricket , see people sitting enjoying the sun set on the wall & some even flying kites on the ramparts along with the sunset which is RARE. Every evening, I found myself eagerly heading up to watch the sky transform into a canvas of vibrant oranges, pinks, and purples as the sun dipped below the horizon. The panoramic view of the fort, the ocean, and the surrounding area made it feel like a private paradise. It’s the ideal spot to unwind with a cup of tea or a good book after a day of exploring. My room was beautiful & perfect with the Balcony & it had everything you want to make your stay comfortable. Comfy bed & water pressure was great. It had 2 large French windows which gives a bright light to the room. The homestay itself is cozy and well-maintained, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, providing helpful tips about the area. While breakfast isn’t included, there are plenty of fantastic cafes and eateries within walking distance, so it wasn’t an issue at all. If you’re looking for a peaceful and picturesque place to stay in Galle Fort, this homestay is an excellent choice. The rooftop alone is worth the stay, and I can’t recommend it enough for anyone who loves a good sunset view. I’ll definitely be returning on my next trip to Sri Lanka.

Das Sergent House befindet sich neben dem Strand Unawatuna in einer Boutique-Villa mit kolonialer Architektur und ursprünglichem Flair. There are not many properties where all points you can give are actually not enough, but the Sergeant House is such a place. We stayed in the 3-Bedroom-Villa with our kids and had a fantastic time. It’s literally impossible to say what we have enjoyed more, the attention given to us by the staff or the amazing property. We are definitely looking forward to repeat this experience again.

Sri Lanka architektonisches Meisterwerk Dunes Unawatuna Hotel ist ein umweltfreundliches Boutique-Hotel in der Nähe des schönen Unawatuna Strand (100 Meter / 5 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt). The location is amazing! We had the garden room with outdoor bathroom, which was a nice experience. The staff was very helpful.

Die Unterkunft befindet sich in Sri Lanka, in einem Gebäude im Kolonialstil, nur 500 m vom Nationalmuseum Galle entfernt. Sehr zentral gelegen, hervorragendes Hotel, sehr freundliches Personal, wir mussten sehr früh auf den Zug und haben trotzdem ein Frühstück erhalten.
