This hotel is an excellent value for money. It is located in the middle of the city next to citys known promenade. Staff is proffesional and friendly. The room was very cozy and the bed was comfortable with good pillows. We were staying in a room facing the street, so the view was superb. Breakfast was good and tasty, with a decent variety of dishes.

The hotel occupies a restored building from the 16th-century, connected by a glass roof with a new one. The restaurant, where breakfast is served, is located in the 16th-century basement decorated with original frescoes. Location in the old town, close to a beautiful castle. Nice walking and good restaurants around. Breakfast was very good, also coffe was better than average in hotels. Very polite and helpful receptionist, explained all very detailly and politely. Parking is about 400m nice walking away.

The spacious rooms of the Santakos feature a classic interior design, bright pastel-coloured walls and wooden furniture. All have a refrigerator. Most have seating areas. Great location, friendly staff. The room was huge, with large windows and very comfortable seating. The hotel is full of elegant touches such as art on the walls, wrought iron tables, furnishings and details. Breakfast is great, and served in a very nice setting. The bed was excellent and also very big. We would certainly stay here again. The main pedestrian street is about a minute away on foot, with the heart of the old town about 10 minutes away. There are lots of bars, cafes and restaurants close by. Another bonus is that the room was completely silent, with no street noise. Very pleasant!
