Munir, the guy at the reception, and Rachid, the tourist guide were the best. I really recommend staying here and if you visit Fez just get Rachid to show you around, he is the best!! He will show you around, take you to the best places, tell you all the stories and history of the place and make your journey an incredible moment. I’m super grateful with him and all the team of this Riad, the best Riad in Fez 😉

Dar Bensouda’s rooms combine the traditional architecture of the original palace with modern comforts. The rooms and suites are arranged around the fountain courtyard. They are air-conditioned and have a private bathroom. The suites have a bathtub and sitting room.
Moroccan-owned, historical and professionally restored riad with super nice rooms (the duplex room in particular was amazing). Restaurant has a good dinner and breakfast (honestly, both much better than some of the highly rated places of Google Maps / internet). Generally the whole historically preserved luxury yet cool vibe was nice. Also, they were super helpful with arranging transport and day trips at short notice and good price. Best hotel we have tried in Morocco so far!

Riad Sabah was really like an oasis when we walked inside after navigating the dark alleys of the medina. We were warmly greeted, and seated in the center courtyard- which was gorgeous! We were given mint tea and some delicious cookies while our paperwork was being done. (we are still looking to find more of those cookies!) Our bed was very comfortable and the room was cozy and clean. (air conditioner worked great). breakfast was very lovely in the courtyard- with the fountains and the pool. You can also request to eat on the rooftop- which we forgot about. but it has a great view of the city.
last- Mariem was super helpful- gave us many tips about the medina- and marked some things on the map for us. But she also suggested an excellent restaurant and called and made a reservation for us for dinner. (which was excellent- and the interior was incredibly beautiful!)

It was the best breakfast we had during our trip in Morocco. We really enjoyed our stay thanks to Omar. He helped us with parking, recommendations and anything we needed. He is a good man who feeds the cats near the riad. We recommend this place

The location was good. It's only around 200 m to the Parking Ain Azliten. ATM and most of the attraction was in reasonable walking distance. The place was surrounded with the small souvenir shops that have more reasonable price compare with the shop nearby the Blue Gate. The interior of the guest house was amazing. The room was small but the furniture's choices was great so even we can open our big luggage without problem. The bed was comfortable. Our room was being cleaned everyday, which is surprising for a guest house class.
However, the best part from all were the staffs. All people were welcoming. The breakfast was made with love. Mr. Haddou was really helpful. He helps us to bought something in the market so we won't get scam. He help us with our baggage to the Blue Gate! He connect us with other guests that staying there too! So we can share our stories. Definitely a worth place to stay in Fes.

Unique, quirky design, lovely food and staff, accommodating all of our needs.
Interior design, roof top, atmosphere, breakfast table setting
Absolutely stunning property. Every detail of the restoration of this Dar was so beautiful. We loved the experience of staying in such a magical place in the heart of the medina. Each room with Kate’s designer eye choosing the perfect textiles and furniture to compliment the space. Amazing rooftop views. Our food was some of the best we had in Morocco and the staff were very hospitable and accommodating to our requests and needs. One of my favorite places to stay in Morocco for a step back in time.
Meryem was incredible. She went above and beyond to take care of all our needs ( organizing tours, help out with accommodations ) she was outrageously friendly and welcoming . The riad itself is gorgeous with great design and Architecture . The room is very clean bed is very comfortable . Breakfast was fabulous . The entire place is a piece of art . This was probably the best experience I have ever during my stay in Morocco
Stunning interior design, great surroundings, and really helpful host. It was great to have such a comfortable stay just a few steps away from some of the most historically significant landmarks in Morocco.
I loved the breakfast, the interior design of the rooms, the lovely hosts.
This riad has the most stunning interior design I've seen. The atmoshphere is really nice and cozy especially at night. Staff was amazing - from the cleaning staff to the guys at reception. Very welcoming and helpful. Especially Karim who went out of his way to help me not get lost in Fes' crazy medina. I felt super comfortable here and wish I could've stayed longer
