Located within less than 1 km of Artificial Beach and a 4-minute walk of Sultan Park in Male City, Sala Boutique Hotel provides accommodation with seating area. Firstly, to be met at the airport and taxi'd to the hotel was reassuring for a Male first-timer. Even at midnight, the roads were hectic with a million scooters zipping everywhere. On arrival at Sala, Rose and Thomas were excellent and attentive guests. Though rustic, the room was very clean and comfortable and had everything needed for a good night's sleep. It was very quiet given it's urban location. Even though a busy area, Sala was off the main road that several of the hotels are on. We were too late for dinner, but i look forward to returning to try Sala Thai restaurant. The breakfast was outstanding: fresh fruit, yoghurt, a selection of fresh breads, coffee and juice in a dining setting.

We had a deluxe bungalow that had direct access to the coral reef (entrance number 2 if I remember correctly) and it was by far the best place for diving on the island. The marine life here is abundant. Our room was cleaned twice a day and was spotlessly clean. Our host Boni was very friendly. We loved the food and special praise goes to chef Chaminda who prepared something extra gluten-free for me every breakfast and dinner (I have celiac disease) and brought me Sri Lankan specialties. The food was varied during dinner (it gets repetitive for me when you are here for more than a week), and for breakfast it is all the same. The pool was great - very clean and modern. Thanks to everyone who made our stay unforgettable: ladies Isabella, Juri and Asmita (our older son loved them so much), Lahifaan who was always available and who always made our little baby happy and of course Boni and Chaminda.

Slippers and free toiletries are provided in the private bathroom. Some of the rooms have a balcony. Great service and staff. Rooms were comfortable and exactly what we needed. We stayed just one night, but if I returned, I would definitely book with them again. Our reservation included breakfast, and it had a big selection for you to choose. It was one of our my friends' birthday, and they even came out with celebratory pancakes!

The 3-star Kaani Beach Hotel is located on Maafushi Island, a sunny beach getaway surrounded by coconut palm trees. Activities on-site include scuba diving, picnics on islands, dolphin watching and snorkelling. A rooftop sundeck and free Wi-Fi are also available. We had a wonderful stay—our room was comfortable and well-maintained. The food was absolutely delicious, and a special thanks to Chef KRISNA for his excellent preparations and the personal touch he added to our dining experience. The service staff was also exceptional—very courteous and attentive special thanks to JUSICA . The only drawback was the poor Wi-Fi connectivity, which could definitely be improved. Other than that, everything was great, and we truly enjoyed our time here.
