Where do I begin? We only stayed here one night but it was absolutely perfect. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by H at reception who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when we asked him if he could recommend and help us plan a tour for the next day. All staff deserves a mention because everyone we came across was super friendly and welcoming and professional. The hotel has 2 restaurants, one international one and a hot pot one. It feels like an elegant English countryside mansion, but with an Asian touch. The bed and the room in general was also extremely comfortable, we had all we need to really feel safe and at home.

The atmosphere here is wonderful, in all the places I've ever stayed, nothing compares to the view, ambiance and atmosphere. It's like stepping back in time in all the right ways. Spotless, comfortable, beautiful gardens.
We booked another night it was that good.

If you are sick of staying in 'chain ' hotels this is for you. The place is a renovated Tudor olde worldy building full of wonderful character. The gardens are magnificent. Rooms are a good size and clean. Breakfast ranges from full old english to continental. If you dine in for other meals they are really well prepared and very English in nature, for example a wonderful Beef Wellington. Staff are exemplary. A great boutique hotel and well recommended.
