Dragsvik Fjordhotell is located along the Gaularfjellet National Tourist Route (National Scenic Routes) The hotel offers free Wi-Fi and free parking. The wonderful family who have owned this property for generations ~ first as a farm then gradually as a peaceful beautiful respite ~ an escape to the fresh air and quiet country life. We participated in ceremonies of their National Day ~ walking in a parade to church, singing at a school and senior's home. Our accommodation was so comfortable, meals delicious and presented beautifully.

The hotel is situated in a tiny picturesque village from the late 19th century by the Luster fjord, overlooking a fantastic view. It has Norway’s best breakfast with everything you may wish, and fantastic service. For extra luxury, enjoy a wonderful 4-course dinner prepared by some of our best chefs, followed by a drink and coffee in the garden. We stayed in one of the modern rooms, which has plenty of space and a nice porch on the lawn to enjoy the morning sun. This is a must see for everyone who just want to relax and enjoy the beautiful landscape. It’s not cheap, but it’s with it.

This hotel was amazing! The rooms were beautiful, spacious, and very clean – everything felt luxurious and high-quality. Breakfast was varied and delicious. We stayed with our dog, and the hotel was perfectly prepared for that. They provided a dog bed and bowls, and we had a room with direct access to the garden. Please note that dogs are only allowed in ground-floor rooms, so it’s important to inform the hotel in advance to make sure one of these rooms is available. It was perfect – our dog loved it and could go outside every morning right from the room. The view from the room was stunning, overlooking the harbor with large ships, and the area around the hotel offered plenty of hiking opportunities and beautiful nature. Overall, a 100% experience – both the hotel and its location. A bit more expensive, but absolutely worth it. Perfect stay, especially if you’re traveling with a dog!

Das Vangsgaarden Gjestgiveri befindet sich in den ältesten Gebäuden des Dorfs Aurland. Direkt am Ufer des Aurlandsfjords bietet es einen herrlichen Ausblick auf die umliegenden Berge. We stayed in a fisherman's hut, right on the water. It was gorgeous. We even got lucky and were able to see the northern lights over the fjord from our little porch. The restaurant and included breakfast were delicious. We would definitely stay here again.

Very cozy lodge style hotel in Flam. It was a 2 min walk from where the Gurvangen fjord cruise drops you. Our family room had everything we could need including a cute little coffee station. Thoroughly enjoyed sitting out in the balcony admiring the view! Extensive breakfast spread. Would highly recommend.

Housed in a 19th-century building by Stryn Bay, this hotel offers individually decorated rooms with private balconies and free WiFi access. Stryn centre is a short walk away. This stay exceeded our expectations. Such a beautiful hotel with the most amazing décor. We had a set menu style dinner at the hotel and it was the best food we had in Norway! An der Spitze der berühmten Flåm-Bahn in Myrdal ist dieses Hotel nur mit dem Zug erreichbar und liegt hoch über dem Aurlandsfjord. This is by far by biggest surprise of the year. We had such a amazing time at this hotel. It has to be a must stop during your trip to Flam. The girl at the front desk is amazing, her recommendations are the best. Also after 10 days of traveling in Norway I had the best food at this place. Hands down one of my best moments of my trip.
